They made that assumption by hearing "We don't know the exact release date, nor we have confirmed any" or something like that... Machinima doesn't know anything, it's just over rushed conclusion... I am even more convinced that it is coming this year, since the developers would've said something like "But it's not this year" or "Not any time soon"....

Perhaps even Rockstar doesn't know when they will be able to release info. It's not easy to predict things that are related to game development. The best you can do is have a "target date", but that's only accurate if there are NO unforseen problems. As we've seen in the past, Rockstar has made announcements, and given target release dates, only to experience delays due to numerous development issues.
I just wish they would STOP announcing their projects so early. All that does is paint them into a corner. I'd LOVE to see them just come out of nowhere and do a sudden release date announcement, followed by a trailer, and other promotional info. 4 to 6 months of total time between the announcement and release date is perfect.

It's what I believe also. We won't see GTA V this year however the website posted in the OP is just stating there opinion. I should put this in my sig really but until it comes from R* anything GTA V related is not fact so you can disregard anything else as it's irrelevant.

This is nothing new. So just because Zelnick said a releasedate hasn't been announcened.etc..etc...it means it won't come out this year, what nice logic. Nobody knows. I don't like how some websites and videos state this as if its a fact, when its not.
