Woah, this thread sprung up overnight! Just like all mods, it's important for the members to touch base with the fans & followers, so I'll answer these as good as I can nkjellman - Looks nice, maybe you can help make a map of the commercial island? I don't know too much about Chicago, so I couldn't make too good of one 69_black_69 - Yeah, I remember that XD I'll send you a PM to see if you've got skype. That's how me and the rest of the team communicate. sibs44 - We could try, almost looks like Pittsburgh with all the bridges nkjellman & RoadRunner71 - Yes, I plan on reusing some generic stuff that would have no sense being replaced, such as Buildings with generic architecture styles, street props, etc.

| QUOTE (Hallgarth @ Tuesday, Aug 7 2012, 15:18) | Wow, this is pretty ambitious. hope you can pull it off. Just my two cents, a guy named Onepiece has been making HD cars of vehicles of GTA 3 era. he's made the Hermes and right now the Oceanic, I think more older cars would suit the mod, giving it that 'has been' city feel that you appear to be going for, while still using GTA vehicles. | True, I remember asking onepiece if we could use some of his III-hd vehicles for the mod, and he said it was okay (now we just gotta find a vehicle converter ). But you're right, it would be nice to have some older cars, and onepiece's collection takes the cake! @Triple Penetration - I love your username XD. Anyway, to answer your question, your method would be possible. I just want to see how Vice City, San Andreas, etc. pulled it off. Either way, it would be awesome to have a chainsaw in the mod. Not only would it remind many players of Manhunt, but it's gruesome, gritty, and fits right into the setting!

| QUOTE (Death2Drugs @ Friday, Aug 3 2012, 05:17) | I'd say Carcer City is more or less based on Camden, New Jersey.
If it is, that would technically put Carcer City in Alderney. |
Here are some photos of Camden for anyone curious. Man, there is no hope for places like this at all. Rust-belt, unemployment, white flight, urban decay and street gangs. I can post more images of cities like this for anyone curious. Here's East St. Louis, Illinois. If you visit the website of this sh*thole, you'll see they're actually trying to make it seem like a great place to live, raise a family and get a job. In reality however, it's the complete opposite, and of course one of if not the most crime-infested city in the US. This post has been edited by Gst0395 on Wednesday, Aug 8 2012, 12:06
