I've been working on Belgian mods for GTA IV lately and these are the results.
Feel free to comment!
A local firetruck, based on a Portuguese one:
An ambulance with the national emergency number above and the European on the sides:
Based on the Dutch ambulance, the very same vehicle:
A police car, Audi, also based on a Dutch one.
The front side, notice the German license plate: it must be 3D, I can't find it in the textures!
And a VW Combi look-a-like (we just call them Combi): the Mercedes Vito, again based on a Dutch version.
The other side, apparently on a strange timing for the ELS-lighting.
And the local bus, which passes by my house 4 times an hour!
The other side, that one is based on a bus from Amsterdam. Too bad it's low poly, but it was the one which came closest.
A cop, with the only difference from the Chicago officers being the insignia.
The other ones are just other copies.
I also changed the sirens, which just have a 20% lower pitch than the sirens in-game.
Also, I spoke into the GPS (in the local Antverpian dialect) being rude (a girlfriend did the female part), added a "meep" to one car horn and made close lightning strikes sound realistic.
To finish: is there anyone who knows where I can find such a model?
PS: just to be sure: I'm not putting this online yet, first I'd like to know if I can do that without trouble.
