Don't take me wrong my favorite GTA is San Andreas but we gotta accept the truth right?

It's because Cali, Florida and NY are the most popular US states and LA, Miami and NY are the coolest & popular cities.

Let's face it...who would want to play a GTA in Texas, Idaho, Oregon, Maine...etc... Answer? Mostly no-one.

Although IF they were to pick a new city or state; I'd think they would go with washington D.C.; seems logical.

When i heard only Los Santos will be in the game i has a little dissapointed but them i thinked what is better, three cities with minimal detail ?, or one city with epic detail ?,it's good because they will heavily focus on just one to make a more detailed city, also forgot to say the version of LS on SA has very poor.

Texas, Idaho, Oregon, Maine, etc would be ideal for future Red Dead type of games. But not present day games. And Washington DC sounds good but Chicago is bigger and better.

That would be hilarious! But being realistic, GTA is a spin off of American culture. GTA London is the exception..

I'd love for them to do New York/Liberty City again, but with Brooklyn etc. in full so you could fly there (albeit in small private jets). Especailly id love to seem them do this on the next-gen consoles, i think it would be amazing to see what they could do with better performance from consoles.

No just NO. We had 8 games with Liberty City. We had 1 game with Los Santos and it's about to be 2. We had 3 games with Vice City. So I rather it be a new city than Liberty City.

Realistically, a proper version of 'New York' as Liberty City has been done once (GTA IV).

To be honest I think that for Rockstar to make a game in a city (in the GTA series) it has to be one of the most famous cities in the world as well as have something unique about it, as well as landmarks.

San Andreas had L.A, SF, and Vegas, three of which are pretty unique in their own right. New York obviously fits this too.

This is why I don't think they could do another city that is not as 'popular'. But then that leaves them to recycling ones they've used or making one up themselves. Either way, i'm glad i don't have to make that decision tbh

Chicago not unique?? Chicago would fit GTA so well. There's alot of problems here plus a lot of gangs. It's different than alot of the cities and the third biggest City in USA.

I know about the gangs and its size, but i mean that for Rockstar to make a game with it it really has to be a unique and special city that will grab peoples attention. For example, i imagine everyone looked forward to IV because it was the first time New York would be represented really well, and everyone is aware of New York, Americans as well as 'everybody else'

I'm not going lie. I was looking forward for GTA in New York. But you can't keep using the same cities. Los Angeles wasn't even part of the GTA world until San Andreas so that means they could do a good attempt at making Chicago.
