I recently wanted to get back to playing GTA SA on my PC. But the last time I played it I had tried to install mods which messed up my computer and I had to get it repaired. So I installed the game and all of my old mods were still installed and my HUD/Minimap where messed up as well. Is there any way I could restore all of the original SA files? Or at least fix the minimap and HUD.

Everything runs as it should, but my fist don't show and I don't know what's wrong with my minimap.

I would like to remove the car mods as well.

My crosshairs are a white square? It seems that only my fists aren't showing, but every other weapon shows up fine.

I don't remember exactly how to do it, but you have to uninstall the game and then remove backup files (like gta3.img, which contains the corrupt files) that the game creates. Unfortunately, I can't remember the process to show the backup files, which are normally hidden.

Where can I find those files?
