Chances are GTA V will have the same art style as GTA IV. This generation of GTA games don't have the cartoon look of last generation consoles GTA games. The drawings look a lot more realistic and I think this represents GTA games as whole.

They have moved away from the arcade type of games that were GTA 3, Vice City and San Andreas and now become a lot more realistic. Also I want GTA V to keep the comic book strips. GTA 3 in the UK didn't have this.




Although the design looked great I like the comic book strip better.

I want the same style with many pictures as they have had in the past, but with a modern looking California vibe to it. Pictures of the beach, the final mansion, downtown, etc.

Look at the girls they are the black powder, I like the layout of the GTA IV cover but it's too photo realistic, about the SA one i llike the girl and the crazy eye ball hippie guy it looks much better on hand, i love how smart they were with the vice city covers and the liberty city ones, if you look closely III and LCS look very cartoonish that's how i like it, and VCS looks very soft very miami

I was always curious about this helicopter always on top left. The bike on top right started to be a pattern after GTAVCS. The rest is only the comic strip cut if some characters ans scenes placed at random.

I wonder if Rockstar would say like that "Oh, so you discovered the heli is always on top left? [shake hands] Congrats! K THX BYE!"

The cover of San Andreas would be damn awesome if they included artworks of Carl, Sweet and maybe a Ballas guy too. Cesar and the signboard and the AK47 guy looks yucky to me. Vice City Stories's cover looked bad to me Rockstar could have made it more awesome and could have put more creativity in to it. The cartoon-like cover in GTA III made the cover more badass in my opinion. IV's one and Liberty City Stories Episodic pack's one was the best ever made.

If they don't go with the comic-style boxart, then I think something like Skyrim's boxart would be sweet. It's so simple, but so epic, it only just manages to convey what to expect with the game. And put the "V" symbol where the dragon symbol is.



I LOVED GTA IV's cover. It had a brilliant "soft", almost water color style, painting theme. It was also very colorful and varied.

However, they better NOT making something like this:

i would love to see the box art exactly the same style that we have been getting because i see it as a GTA tradition and would not like it if they changed the design. i would like something along the lines of vice city, i did not like san andreas as it looked dull and boring

and a bit off topic i have never noticed the helicopters before in the top left corner, all these years and still finding things out about the games
