Hey guys, I could potentially be receiving £3,000 in the near future, and I'd love to purchase a brand new gaming computer. It could either be a pre-built computer, or individual components. Obviously it doesn't even need to be anywhere near £3,000, but I'd love to get my hands on a computer that would last me a good number of years before I'd have to upgrade.

I'm from the UK, so if you guys could link me to websites from the UK, e.g. Scan or Overclockers, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks in advance. I'm not being a lazy asshole, I'm just not particularly knowledgeable on what components to purchase. I'd love to get a GTX 690, perhaps more than one.

...and before you ask: yes, this build is VERY over-the-top. But basically everything you get there is the best you can have. I didn't have enough money left for second GTX690 though, but anyway: 2x GTX690 equals four GPUs. It probably won't scale well.

Anyway, here's a much more reasonable build:

It's basically as good as it needs to be, and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
