Introduction to Stevie's Car Theft

Stevie's Car Theft is a side mission in Grand Theft Auto IV which consists of stealing a set of rare cars in Liberty City. This side mission is available once the player have gained the Alderney Safehouse and completed the missions Smackdown and No.01. After completing the missions Niko will get a call from Brucie and afterwards a text message form Stevie, he needs 30 rare cars that Niko will have to find by searching all over Liberty City and deliver the cars to S&M Autos. Stevie pays a lot of money for the cars and doing this mission will end up in easy money and for delivering all thirty cars you get the achievement "You Got The Message"..

Who is Stevie?

Stevie is a black market car trader in Liberty City.He is also a business dealer and a personal friend of Brucie Kibbutz. He keeps in touch with Niko only via text messages. he owns a garage called S&M Autos Sales located in Bohan. The player delivers cars stolen for Stevie to S&M Autos Sales. The garage only accepts he requested vehicles only. But once all thirty cars are delivered the player can sell any car in there for cash.

Tips for the Car Thefts

*Like stealing any other car, if the cops see you stealing a car requested by Stevie you will get an instant star wanted level.

*Once you find the right vehicle a notification from the game will appear ""You've found the vehicle Stevie is looking for".

*The cash you earn depend on the condition of the car it is when you deliver. If the car is in mint condition you will earn the full cash.

*Even if the car have invisible or minor damages you will get the full cash prize.

*Only serious damages such as major dents, broken headlights and other heavy damages will reduce your prize.

*If you destroy a vehicle. Do not get worried as the car will re-spawn in the same place when the car is not delivered. That way you can save a unique vehicle requested by Stevie in a parking space and still go again o the spawn point and delver the car that have re-spawned.

*Going to a Pay n' Spray will repair the car. But there are no spray shops in Bohan.

*The cars requested by Stevie have unique paint jobs. Re-spraying the cars won't change their unique colors.

*Don't re-spray a motorcycle needed by Stevie as the motorcycles will change the color which the delivery garage will reject. So you will have to travel all the way to get another one.

*Once all the 30 cars are delivered, Niko can make some easy money by bringing a vehicle they want and selling it. The price will differ according to the model and the current condidtion of the vehicle. If the vehicle is damaged the player will get less money.

Car Locations

Below I have mentioned all the detailed locations of the cars. I will mention again that that just normal Inferni, Banshees or any other car types are not valid. The garage will reject them. You need to take the unique cars which are the valid ones. And there is no time limit you can take your time to search them and bring them to the garage.


Banshee



This is the Banshee which is required by Stevie. It have a unique bright orange and yellow paint job. This Banshee will spawn sometimes with or without a roof.

Locations

Algonquin, Middle Park West. Parked west of a building that says Mammon Heights, facing north. On the other side of the street is the art gallery. the easiest way to find this is to go to the southwest corner of middle park, go one block west and then turn right to the north. The Banshee is on your right side in all its orange glory..


Rewards

The reward for the Banshee is $26400 for mint condition.

Bobcat



This is Bobcat requested by Stevie. Its unique feature is its paint job which is pale-brown.

Location

Dukes, Francis International Airport. On top of the multistory car park, west of the terminal. Just go up to the roof and there you find it in the south area, parked on the middle part in front of a pay station.


Rewards

The rewards for the Bobcat is $8250 for mint condition.

Buccaneer



This is Buccaneer needed by Stevie. Its maroon and black paintjob is the unique feature and its awesomeness.

Location

Bohan, Industrial. Look at the map of Bohan, in the southeast corner is a two lane highway going southwest and then just ends out on the water. Go under that highway, on the road that goes northwest to southeast. At the corner where that road turns east, just south of it, is this car.


Rewards

The cash prize for a mint condition Buccaneer is $5940

Cavalcade



The Cavalcade is one my favourite vehicles in the game. The green paintjob is unique and that's the one that Stevie needs.

Locations

Alderney, Leftwood. Just north of the Hospital here. If you look at the map and see the northern pay and spray, locate the road to the northwest that starts going west, makes a hairpin curve southwards and then goes to the northwest, where that road ends is a house with a small wall and behind that small wall (visible from the street) is the car, parked facing west. The house is near the corner of Manzano Road and Flathead road.


Rewards

The reward for a mint condition Cavalcade is $23100


Cognoscenti



This is the unique Cognoscenti required by Stevie. Its uniqueness is the baby blue paintjob on it. Looks good,huh?

Locations

Alderney City. From the north pay and spray go west, take the first south. At the third corner where the thin street meets the thicker street that goes south to west, stop here. Look to the east into the alley, it is parked on the south side of it about in the middle.


Rewards

The cash prize for a undamaged Cognoscenti is $29700.

Comet



This Comet too is one of my favourite cars in the game. Its plum color is unique and looks so damn cool

Location

Algonquin, Westminster. It's parked in front of the Burger Shot on the west coast of Algonquin


Rewards

The amount of cash you get for the Comet is $19800 as long as it is unscathed .

Contender



This is the Contender required by Stevie. Its unique dark grey paintjob is its uniqueness and its awesomeness

Location

Dukes, Boabo. This is the same location you have been in the Bleed Out mission of the story. The guy dropped his car here and ran up the stairs. If you don't know any more where that is, then look where the Algonquin bridge hits the land. the first road that goes under it in the west, follow it a bit north. Before it curves to the east, look to the west through the gate of a factory with two large buildings. The car is in between.


Rewards

The amount of cash you get for an undamaged Contender is $8250.


Coquette



The Coquette requested by Stevie features a unique grey paintjob which looks f*cking awesome. Its actually another al time favourite of mine..

Locations

Algonquin, Suffolk. Take the road north of the weapons shop (in Chinatown) and proceed west. Take a right on the fifth intersection you come too into Liberty Lane. If you're in the right place, there is a church on the west side of the street. The Coquette parked next to the church, west side of the road. This road is also directly two blocks south of the big sky scraper.


Rewards

The reward for a unscathed Coquette is $13530


DF8-90



This is the DF8-90 required by Stevie. Its uniqueness is the light blue paintjob.

Locations

Broker, Hove Beach. Southeast of the broker safe house is a train station. You can see the symbol for it overlapping a building to the north on the map. That is the train station and on ground level, you have a parking garage in the south-eastern corner, where this one is parked.


Rewards

The rewards for a mint condition DF8-90 is $5950.


Dilettante



This is the Dilettante needed by Stevie. The gold paintjob in the car is the factor that this car is unique.

Location

Dukes, Willis. Take the road west of the northern car wash to the north. At the third road that goes west and turn left. The Dilettante is parked on the right side (north) here. If you look to the east you should see the "Big Willis Mall" sign.


Rewards

The rewards for the Dilettante is $6600 as long as it is unscathed .

Dukes



This is the Dukes required by Stevie. The bright red body and its metallic rims are unique.

Location

Algonquin, East Holland. Go to the northern Modo cloth store. Across the street to the southeast, the Dukes is parked facing east just as the street goes downward. You can see the cloth store easy from where the car is parked.


Rewards

The money you get for a undamaged Dukes car is $7260.


Faggio



The Faggio might be the first motorbike you deliver to Stevie. Its light green paintjob is the unique feature of this scooter.

Location

Algonquin, Chinatown. Just off the end of the Broker Bridge near the weapons shop.


Rewards

The reward for a mint condition Faggio is $2310.

Freeway



The Freeway is another fave of mine.The beige color paintjob makes the Freeway unique.

Location

Dukes, Willis. Go to the northeast car wash. the bike is just south of it parked on the street, on the eastern side, facing north.


Rewards

The reward for the unscathed Freeway is $6600. They don't pay a lot for bikes, huh?

Huntley Sport



The two tone navy blue and sky blue combined paintjob makes the Huntley unique.

Location

Bohan, Northern Gardens. In northern Bohan, where the two lane high way from the east merges into one lane again, a small road goes south. At that corner to the southeast is a police station next to a hospital, which is shown on your map as a large set of alley ways. The car is parked in a parking lot with a wall around it in the north of the station. It opens up to the west which is also the direction the car faces. Be careful when stealing the car as there is a police officer standing right next to it (near the pay-phone).


Rewards

The reward for a mint condition Huntley is $13200.


Infernus



This, is my favourite car in GTA IV. The gold paintjob is the factor that make this awesome car unique.

Location

Dukes, Downtown. Look for the circle in outlook, with the big arch on it. Go north from it and you will see the Infernus parked on the east street side facing north, in front of a place that has a sign "Pizza Salad" on it.


Rewards

The reward for an unscathed Infernus is $33000.Cool, huh?

Intruder



This is the Intruder needed by Stevie. The unique feature is the dark blue paintjob

Location

Broker, Rotterdam Hill. Take the road that is south of the weapons shop and go west on it. "Follow" it generally to the northwest then west again. Here the road makes a curve to the southeast. Before the curve, this one is parked. There also is a hot dog stand here. The car faces west.


Rewards

The cash prize for an Intruder is $8250. As long as it is not damaged.

Manana



This Manana is the one needed by Stevie. Its white roof and grey paintjob makes it unique.

Location

Dukes, Cerveza Heights. One block east of the Cluckin Bell in Cerveza Heights. You will see an old burger shot there that is no longer open. The Manana is parked on the south side of it facing west. The block it is in has an alley on the map that goes from east to the south.


Rewards

$3960. This is the amount you get for an unscathed Manana.


Moonbeam



This is Moonbeam that Stevie wants. Its red and black paintjob makes it a unique Moonbeam.

Location

Charge Island. The street on Charge island in the northeast goes close to the water front. Just as it curves back to the southwest, there is a parking lot (darker grey area on the map). The Moonbeam is in the middle of the southern end here, facing north.


Rewards

The reward for a mint condition Moonbeam is $7260.


NRG 900



This NRG 500 is the one required by Stevie. Its uniqueness is the dark grey paintjob.

Location

Algonquin, Lancaster. From the northeast corner of middle park, go east one block then turn south. The bike is parked on the east side of the street in the middle of this block, facing north.


Rewards

The reward you get for a undamaged NRG 900 is $8250.


Patriot



This is the Patriot required by Stevie. The yellow paintjob with the vinyl is unique.

Location

Algonquin, The Exchange. Go one block west from the southern Perseus clothing store and then one block south. On the southwest corner of the next block to the south, on its south side. It's on the corner of South Parkway and Denver Avenue where Castle Gardens meets The Exchange. There should be two towers, with a walkway over the road, it's parked under the eastern tower next to a hot-dog stand. Can't miss a yellow Patriot really!


Rewards

The reward for an unscathed Patriot is $16500.

PMP 600



This is PMP 600 required by Stevie. The unique feature of this car is its silver paintjob.

Location

Algonquin, The Exchange. The PMP is parked in an alley way near a Perseus clothing store & a Bank of Liberty in The Exchange, in the block just north of the Perseus cloth store is the bank (occupying the south-eastern part of that block). Just north of that is an alley (this alley is the same colour as roads on your map) in which the PMP 600 is parked.


Rewards

The rewards for an unscathed PMP 600 is $10560.


Rancher



This is the Rancher required by Stevie. The unique feature of this car is it's blood red and grey paintjob. This may sometimes spawn with or without the the camper shell. Don't worry both types are accepted in the garage.

Location

Located in Alderney in the Port Tudor area. Look at the map and locate the weapons shop. Now from here to the east are two docks that have roads on them. To the west of those docks are two buildings with roads around them. The southern of the two has the northeast corner missing. The Rancher is in that corner.


Rewards

You get $8250 for an unscathed Rancher,


Rebla



This is the Rebla required by Stevie. Like every other car you have delivered this one too is unique for its dark brown paintjob.

Location

Algonquin, The Triangle. From the clucking bell, go south and take the second road east. Stop at the next corner and look to the southeast. There is a restaurant with a crab logo. The Rebla is parked outside it, on the east side of the road, facing north. Across the corner to the northeast is the building of the Daily Globe.


Rewards

The reward for an unscathed Rebla is $11550.


Sabre GT



This is the Sabre GT required by Stevie. The dark green and greenish blue striped paintjob is unique.

Location

On a driveway of a house at Tudor Street, Meadow Hills, Dukes.


Rewards

The reward for a mint conditioned Sabre GT is $8250.


Sentinel



This is the Sentinel Stevie needs. The unique feature of this car is the candy blue and green paintjob.

Location

Alderney, Normandy. Go west from the booth tunnel, take the second one south and then turn left again. There is a sign Tudor Port on your right. The car is behind the sign and before the gates ahead. It is parked facing north, on the west side of the road leading into the gated area.


Rewards

The reward for an unscathed Sentinel is $8250.

Sultan



This is the Sultan required by Stevie. Its unique feature is the black rims and the vibrant blue paint job.

Location

Alderney, Berchem. From tw@t internet cafe take road heading west. Car is in driveway of house at T-intersection.

The reward for a mint condition Sultan is $11550.


Super GT



The Super GT is another favourite of mine. The unique feature of this car is the dark grey paint job.

Location

Algonquin, The Exchange. Go from the southern Perseus store to the north (through the street that is a bit wavy). On the third street, after the 69 Exchange, turn west and you should see it parked there on the northern side of the road facing west. Right next to it is a bank.


Reward

As long as your Super GT is not damaged you will gain the full prize of $36300. The highest cash prize along with the Turismo.


Turismo



The Turismo is my second favourite car in the whole game. The metallic beige paintjob is what makes the car required by Stevie unique.

Location

Alderney, Westdyke. Go from the northern car wash. Take the road south of it to the west then south. Turn east and when the next road goes off to the south, stop. Just to the north of here in that block is house that has on the map a marking of an alley in a T shape. It is the western most one here. In the northeast corner of that T is the Turismo parked.

Reward

The reward for a undamaged Turismo is $36300 the highest amount along with the Super GT.


Voodoo



This is the Voodoo Stevie needs. The black rims and the emerald paintjob is unique.

Location

Dukes, East Island City. Very simple. Just come off the bridge East Borough Bridge, follow this road till it ends and you bump right into it. It is parked on the east side of a street, to the east is a large tower form LC24, to the southeast a hotdog stand and a bit to the southwest a police station. Be careful of those cops.


Reward

The cash you get for an undamaged Voodoo is $6600.


Washington



This is the Washington Stevie requires. What's special of this car is that this one is not unique. Its paintjob is all black but I've seen black Washingtons in Algonquin.

Location

Dukes, Steinway. Look at Dukes. there is the large elongated circular park in the northwest on the western shore. Go to its west side. The Washington is parked on the west side of the road here, facing south.


Rewards

The reward for popping a unscathed Washington in the S&M Autos Garage is $7260.

Congratulations!!! You have completed the side mission Stevie's Car Thefts by popping all 30 cars required by Stevie. As a reward you will get the achievement "You Got The Message" in your stats. You can now sell almost any type of car by bringing them to S&M Autos.

Do I need to do this to complete the storyline?
No, this is optional. You need to do this only if you need to hit the 100% or to get the achievement "You Got the Message".

Should I take a random car which spawns in the street?
No you can't. You need to take these special cars for the spawn points I have posted.

Are these cars unique?
All cars are unique only in paintjobs except the Washington.

Can I have these cars all to myself?
Yep, you can. As long as you have enough parking space. Take a car and park it. Another copy will spawn when the car is not delivered. But remember if you have delivered the car to the garage, then you have lost hope of it. Another copy won't spawn.

I have popped a car. But Stevie doesn't text me. Why?
Because Stevie takes about 6 hours to respond. But here is a tip to complete it quickly. Once you pop a car in the garage. Save the game. Thus by passing time then Stevie will text. Repeat this and you will do it in no time.

I have take the unique bikes too from their spawn points. But why does the garage reject my motorcycles when I deliver them?
You must have re-spayed them in a Pay n' Spray. Bikes change their color when re-sprayed and so the garages reject them. But re-sparing is okay with cars they don't change their color.

I still haven't got the text message from Stevie to start the mission. Why is that?
You will get the message only when you have done the mission Smackdown and No. 01 and have gained access to the Alderney Safehouse.
