If its obviously receiving power and not booting, there are three likely options IMO.

1) The inbuilt power supply (power pack thingy on the cable) has a problem, and that's causing the surge protection/short-circuit protection/some other kind of protection on the motherboard to trip.

2) The motherboard is damaged or dying.

3) The battery could be dead. Some laptops require the battery to be inserted and functioning in order to boot up. If the battery is so dead as it is effectively not holding charge, then it may be causing the laptop to fail to boot.

Thanks for reply.

From all options just the 1 and 2 apply to my problem (from my point of view) because i think the batery is good. I just have to open the PC and see inside. But you gave me a tip for now and I already know where to start.

If anyone can give me more options just post. OK?

Well have you check to see if its your problem yet? If your capacitors are leaking, bulging, swollen or cracking, your motherboard is at risk.
