SA-MP FOR STEAM, HELP NEEDED

Cant find directory for my GTA SA -.-

Player Hater Group: Members Joined: Jul 31, 2012	Hey, i really wanna play SA-MP [ STEAM VERSION ], but when i have to choose where i have my Grand Theft Auto San Andreas directory,, (x86Program Files) > Steam > Steamapps > Common > GTA SA> Grand theft Auto San andreas, the point is it wont let me press ok or install, so please help me ! i have been trying for so long know and i really dont know what to do, i have just cleaned and deleted my pc so the only thing i have on the computer right now is steam, gta sa, .net something, and yeah basic things like skype and stuff.. If you have Team Viewer, please help me!

Big Homie Group: Members Joined: Apr 19, 2006	The Steam version is V3, and SA-MP is for V1 ONLY....Since the Steam version is not downgrade-able nor moddable(beyond Script mods), you will not be able to play SA-MP on the Steam version...You MUST have V1, which has not been sold since June of 2005(that is when V2 came out)... Also, to my knowledge, Discussion of SA-MP is against the Forum rules, as there is a dedicated forum for SA-MP? Unless that changed recently?
