Hey guys, I'm not entirely sure this is possible but here goes nothing.

I am looking to have a group of PCs wake on LAN at 6 A.M. and log themselves in then log out. The purpose is to speed up future login times. The first start of the day takes about a minute and a half but subsequent logins take around twenty seconds. All of the computers are frozen and controlled by a remote DeepFreeze server. The server is version 2008 Datacenter full install and the computer are running Windows 7 SP1 Enterprise.

If anyone knows a login script that will do this, it would be greatly appreciated. I have searched very extensively but can't find one.

I don't know if it's even possible to have machines log themselves in, but it might suffice to have a "user" log in remotely. So you might be able to get the server to act as a user, log in into each machine, and then log out. That there might be scripts for out there.

Thanks K^2, that's exactly what I found out how to do.

If anyone's vaguely interested in how to do it, this works just fine:

Enabling autologin using GPO

Then build a group policy to disable the autologin by changing the autologin registry variable to 0 instead of 1.
