| QUOTE (Kenway @ Sunday, Aug 12 2012, 18:49) | | i really need this fixed soon, thanks. | Since you are on a laptop, there really is nothing you can do besides putting ALL settings(and resolution) at bare minimum and keeping the drivers up to date, as laptop cards cannot be upgraded since they are soldered in...Plus, being on a lower-end Dual Core processor doesn't make things to much better there...also, 3GB Ram is not really enough for gaming, as Windows 7 32-bit uses around 1.2GB to 1.4GB for the OS itself(meaning not much left for games)..I don't have my Windows 7 32-bit machine anymore, as I gave it to my girlfriend, but Here is proof on a Vista system.. with the same amount of Ram and about the same processor...and as you can see it uses around 1.4GB Ram without any open programs(7 uses around the same amount of RAM-as the 64-bit version uses about 2.14 GB of RAM as seen here...without any open programs(I have 6GB Ram on my 64-bit 7 laptop)....

That would be a fairly cheap work around for now, until you can get a better system...Plus, IF you installed Windows 7 yourself(and judging by the specs, I take it your PC originally came with either XP OR Vista and you upgraded?)-If so, you should have the install disc still for the OS, so you can just do a clean install and install the 64-bit OS instead of the 32-bit...I know the disc comes with the option for 32-bit OR 64-bit installs, as on my old Vista laptop I got the free Windows 7 update when it came out(thanks to the promotion HP had going on at the time), and it asked me which one I wanted to install-I only chose the 32-bit version cause it didn't require a clean install meaning I was able to keep my settings and files in tact still..."food for thought" lol
