I'd have to say The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly for this one, The Matrix is still a great film. But Sergio Leone's filmmaking style can't be copied without you being a copycat because not one filmmaker has had the balls to copy it to the length of what Sergio did.
Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef and Eli Wallach are all fantastic actors, the story and the complete script of the film leaves you with very little questions and it is as straight forward is at can be. Spaghetti Westerns are my favourite Western films because they're not just shooting and killing, they actually have a stylistic approach to Westerns, it seems corny but it's pulled off very well in my opinion.
Regarding The Matrix, it's still a great film and it'll always be remembered for "bullet time" as well as the visuals for the time that it came out in, as well as Keanu Reeves' acting which is brilliant. I still think that The Matrix is overrated and doesn't deserve the praise, now don't get me wrong. I think it's a great film, but it doesn't deserve all of the things it was praised for, and still is praised for.
So I go with The Good, The Bad and the Ugly.

Leone was an artist, he was making movies in his way and he practically created spaghetti westerns. His movies are very sophisticated, because he was creating a picture. Great picture I may add. Some people are calling these movies boring, slow, but Leone cared about ambience and he wasn't actually starting anything when the mood wasn't perfectly introduced.
The Good, The Bad and The Ugly is one of these movies, great acting, perfect music made by Ennio Morricone of course and Leone directing talent are turning this almost 3 hours long movie in fullfilled masterpiece.
I am not big fan of Matrix to be honest. It was pretty good movie, but also it was pretty far from being briliant. Only things that making this movie stand out from similar ones are acting (Reeves, Moss, Weaving) and special effects. Wachowski Brothers showed one talent - they knew how to glued some different movies (Terminator, Ghost in the Shell) into one and what add to make good movie.
I've watched it couple of times back in the days, but I doubt if I would like to watch it again today.
My vote goes to TG,TB and TU
