I am so glad that I've cut my hair a long time ago with the old buzzcut that I sport in the first photo that was taken back in 2009 when I had 13. And the second photo is right before my surgery and weight loss, it was at the easter as you can see by the fancy noses.

I admit the concept is certainly strange, but it's not like I had talked to Kevin for a month and was like, "Hey, I'm swinging by your place tomorrow."

I've talked to him over the course of many years and got to know him, such that he was like a personal friend, so that if I ever did go down to visit, it wouldn't be seriously awkward.

Don't get me wrong, though - going to Pittsburgh would have been considered a personal risk to some degree; I had never met Kevin before and even though I had talked to him plenty and was confident he wasn't going to butcher me à la Jeffery Dahmer, I couldn't know that for certain. It was a gamble I took, but it obviously paid off and I don't regret my decision.

I've met nine forumers from GTAF and each one of them (maybe with the exception of uNi) I've talked to over a substantial period of time and got to know them well. There's only a select few from this forum I would care to actually meet and have a brew or two with.
