Hello there, I'm having a problem. I just started a new playthrough of San andreas and I'm at the mission where you have to chase down the ballas after having ordered food.

My problem is, whenever the ballas car is about to explode, the game will crash and shut down saying "gta-sa.exe has stopped working"

Thanks for reading smile.gif

(Also, I have no mods installed and i downloading the game through steam)

I'd much rather not reinstall the game, I have terrible internet speed and it would probably take an entire day. I've verified my game cache and there seems to me nothing wrong with my game.

Hmm...may be a game file is missing. Try deleting your gta_sa.set file located in your user files directory.

Documents/ GTA San Andreas User Files/ gta_sa.set Delete it and see.

If not try re-installing the game from a Original DVD. icon14.gif

Have you tried running the game in Windows 98 compatibility mode?
Also, are your video drivers updated?
