Well, I think that this is the wrong section... I guess you didn't add the new parts in "data\carmods.dat", that can be [one of] the problem. EDIT 1: Ops, it's carmod.dat not carmod.ide EDIT 2: Oh, not in maps folder, is data folder This post has been edited by Link2012 on Friday, Jul 27 2012, 02:46

| QUOTE (Modz @ Wednesday, Jul 25 2012, 23:30) | | i need some help now to. when im going to add a car mod, now im using an mitsubitsi eclipse. I have tried very different car installers... but then some1 told me to use spark tool. so i tried with that to. didnt work... soo... when im going to tune the car. i can only change wheel, paintjob hydralics and color. and nitro and bass boost. and thats all... |
Use IMG Manager or G-IMG run always "Rebuild Archiv" after you changed something somthing inside of IMG Mitsubishi Eclipse NFSMW v4 by JGEM or what? did you replaced uranus? what means, you can only change wheel, ... ? does then menue don't show more? or does it crash when you want to add a tuningpart? post the carmod.dat line of the vehicle if it is uranus, it should look like this: | CODE | | uranus, fbmp_a_st, fbmp_c_st, nto_b_l, nto_b_s, nto_b_tw, rbmp_c_st, rf_a_st, rf_c_st, spl_a_st_r, spl_c_st_r, wg_l_a_st, wg_l_c_st |

carmods.dat is a very simple file, look a little below in the file, where you have "mods" section: | CODE | | admiral, nto_b_l, nto_b_s, nto_b_tw |
You put the vehicle identifier and next you put the tunning parts of the vehicle... (nto_* is nitro). Now, look in the top, the "link" section. | CODE | | bntl_b_ov, bntr_b_ov |
This is a kind of link, that's: If your vehicle is tunned with "bntl_b_ov" the vehicle will also have a "bntr_b_ov" (Used with Side Bumper) And in the end, the wheels section is very explainable, there's the wheel sets (Transfender, Wheel Arch Angel, LLC, in that order). Don't forget to follow the rule of starting the part name with it's prefix, the game reads the prefix to see what kind of part it is working with.
