In this digital day and age, almost everyone own a computer. Whether it's a desktop, laptop, or tablet, we all have a timeline of the very first computer we have, to the ones running now and everything in between.
So what is your computer timeline (No need to list everything, just things you think it's important to you)?

First computer (self built, year 2000)
Pentium !!! @800MHz (slot 1)
Azza motherboard w/Y2K bios patch rolleyes.gif
128MB PC-133 SD-RAM
WD 20GB HDD
ATi RageXL 2MB AGP graphic card <-- ran like crap, upgraded to a 32MB just to play NFS:HS, and finally a GeForce FX 5200 all because of GTA:VC and DX9.
Windows ME <-- Didn't have any crashes, maybe I was one of them lucky ones?

2nd computer (2005)
Pentium D @2.8GHz <-- very first dual core, I waited 3 months for this!
Asus P5LD2 Deluxe <-- trade in for a P5K Deluxe
2GB DDR2
2xWD 80GB SATA in RAID 0 + 160GB for storage
GeForce 6600GT
Windows XP

Current
Xeon @ 2.66GHz
Asus Rampage Formula
4GB DDR2
WD Black 500GB + 1TB and 2TB green for storage
ATi HD5850+GT240 in Hybrid PhysX
Windows 7 64bit

First computer experience was on an NCR at my dad's office and then later one they brought to the house that they had to use a forklift to get it off of the truck and in the front door and then it still took about 5-6 guys to move it. No joke.
First family computer: Apple ][ my dad had to take out a loan to get. Later the Apple ][+ and Apple][e.
First GUI computer: Apple Macintosh Performa 630CD, even had a capture/TV card in it...problem was getting the edited video back out to a VHS tape.
Later we got a PowerPC 6000series and a 7000series, I forget which ones.
First Apple laptop: 1999 clam shell Blue iBook. Later followed by: iBook Dual USB 2001, iBook G4 2003, and some other Mac laptops including an Air.

First Windows PC: Same one I listed in the Worst computer you ever owned topic.
Next came a Fry's BYOPC which was a crappy case with PSU, PCChips/ECS mobo, AMD Thunderbird 900Mhz, 256MB RAM, and a TNT2 64M 32MB. Later upgraded with more RAM, mobo fried and replaced with an even crappier Jetway, AMD Duron 1Ghz (or 1.5Ghz I forget), GPU died and replaced with a GeForce MX440 64MB, added a SoundBlaster Live! 5.1 and a better network card since the Jetway's onboard was glitched then even later still on the Jetway got a AMD XP 1800+ and 2x512MB RAM non-matched stick and a FX5700LE.
New build came in the form of an ASUS mobo (I forget the model number), still used the AMD XP 1800+ until it was replaced later by the XP 3200+, also still used the 5700LE until it got replaced for a 6800GS AGP. Finally got matches sticks of 2x1GB Kingston HyperX RAM.
Several years later another complete whole new build. Intel C2Q Q8200, first 2x1GB and then later 2x2GB RAM both OCZ, Gigabyte mobo, nvidia 9800GT, 320GB and a 250GB HDDs both of which came over from the the AMD rig and both IDE.
About 1-2 years later replaced with the 1.5yr old rig in my sig; Intel Core i7-200K, 2x4GB Kingston HyperX RAM, 1x120GB SSD by OCZ, 2x1TB Western Digital Black HDDs, Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3P-B3 mobo, GTX 560Ti with a GTS450 as back up, OCZ 750W PSU

I was about 2 when I had my first PC, might have been older than that but my Dad reckons it was 2.

I don't exactly remember what kind of PC, but I do know that it was an Intel powered PC and that it was one of the best PCs that you could get, it was in 1998. I still have it actually, maybe I'll look for it and post the PC name.

I first had Cyrix 166MHz + 16MB RAM + S3 Virge, then upgraded to Winchip 200MHz + 32MB RAM + Riva TNT, and then upgraded to Celeron 433@525MHz + 192MB RAM + Riva TNT.
Second PC was P4 2,4GHz + 768MB RAM + GeForce 4 MX 440, then upgraded to GeForce 6600GT... which was shortly burned by a sh*tty PSU and was replaced by Radeon X1650.
Third PC was Q6600 + 2GB RAM + 8800GT, then upgraded to 4GB RAM.
Fourth and current PC is Xeon X3440 + 4GB RAM + GTX470. No upgrades, aside from SSD that I had for a few months.

Funny thing is that I still have all of these PCs and they're used frequently by other family members. wink.gif

I don't really remember my first PC, since my mom got it two years before I was born, but I faintly remember using it. It was a Gateway of some sorts, and we got rid of it in 2002-03. The second one my family had was one that ran Windows XP. I don't know any of the system specs beyond that, but it probably had around 512 MB of RAM like most computers of its day had.
