No need to imagine so hard... See what happened when GTASA "achieved" this rating after discovering the "hot coffee" content. |
Two things happened, GTA became famous and sales broke records, and Rockstar studios begun to be despised by various butthurt people who threatened and seeked to ban the game itself. | I could say, during that time, GTASA became INfamous. Imagine you, entering the store, grabbing GTASA box with a giant "AO" printed on it, and with the virtual sex scenes printed over newspapers. People around you would probably start to comment "Hey, isn't that sex game? This guy is such a wanker to play something like this..." After that, you're either in shame and leave the box alone, or if you're really into this kind of thing, or are planning to play it as it was supposed to, you'll take it and ignore the comments.

And the question I made before remains unanswered... Do you really buy a game thinking "OMFG I CAN KILLZ CHILDZ, DAWGZ & HAEV SECS WIF THER CORPZE!" or buy it thinking how fun the game is?
In my sh*tty opinion, if you're going to the first option, you're looking for a tabloid, not a game...
