GTA V needs to be about 20% cooler.

I, like anyone else, have no idea what R* has up their sleeves this time, but I'm certainly hoping it will be something spectacular. These days you'd think it would be easier to push the limits that it was 10 years ago. I'm hoping for something really extreme like full frontal nudity, limbs flying off when shot with a powerful weapon or when hit by a car in high speed, maybe a sex mini-game or at least a sex scene. Being the sick f*ck I am, I wouldn't mind getting to rape someone. I think it's time for R* to become more aggressive again. IV didn't really contain any chocking material from what I can remember, at least not in original IV without the expansions. I know the penis was in one of the expansions, but It was in a cutscene and not really extreme in my opinion. Even though I highly, HIGHLY doubt it would be possible, I'd like to see children in the game. Even killable children. I know it's pretty much as extreme as you can go, and R* would probably not get to sell the game even, that's why I think it wouldn't be in it, but I'd still like to see it. It would add to the realism to have kids in the game and I myself would probably not kill them anyway because it would make me feel really bad, just like killing animals would

| I really hope that's a joke. Anyways, will always be lines that they cannot cross. That, that right there, is one of them. Killable kids, and babies as some have suggested, is another one.

| QUOTE (JugularXJ220 @ Wednesday, Jul 25 2012, 00:09) | The only game that actively allowed the player to rape, was 'Custer's last Stand' which was an abomination. That's one of the last great taboos I suppose. Myself, I wouldn't buy a game that allowed the player to participate in rape.
If they included a mission where you kidnap an FBI agent (or G W Bush ... W G Busch), fly him across the map to a secret prison, water board him repeatedly till he admits to being a criminal. That might get the media interested. | The thing is, they shouldn't put somthing in the game, just to stir up controversy. That's just dumb.

(Mortal Kombat, GTA I ... etc etc) | R* are known for attention grabbing publicity stunts. The Hot Coffee pornographic X rated sexual intercourse climax minigame scandal was one of them.

Hot coffee is an example of going too far. Not for moral reasons. Just because this a video game, not a porno. This post has been edited by azali10 on Wednesday, Jul 25 2012, 02:49

I tried to avoid replying on this kind of topic, but my fingers betrayed me...
Naked women, naked men, driving drunk, using drugs, killing children, killing animals, raping children, raping animals... Put some tentacles there and we'll have a Japanese game instead of GTA...
Really guys, answer sincerely: do you really buy a game because you wanna kill animals and rape someone in the backseat, or do you buy because the game is fun?

RDR had animals, and nobody said squat about animal cruelty. Frankly, there isn't much that hasn't been done already. The "hot coffee" mod was a LONG time ago, and people have become desensitized to just about everything. Saints Row is about as over the top as it gets, and is proof that more is not necessarily better. There was no outcry over Saints Row, and i doubt there is anything Rockstar could come up with that will rattle anyone outside of some douchebag trying to make a name for themselves. GTA has become more of a symbol than anything else. In truth, there are FAR worse games in terms of content that pushes any social boundaries. Max Payne 3 is gorier and more sexually explicit than anything GTA has done before, and there hasn't been any backlash from anyone. Fortunately, GTA has stood the test of time because they are better than a game that relies on gimmicks, like trying to shock people for attention.
