People dont seem to like to answer me -_- So im asking people this plain question : How can I edit memrestrict for gta iv i need to know -_-

In the GTA IV man directory, make a new .txt file called commandline. Then copy and paste:

-memrestrict X

X indicates the number. The default number is 1, if you increase it to 2, it multiplies the VRAM to twice of what you have, and so on.

personnally i do not recommend using commandline stuff for everything that is linked to ressources . IHMO it gives false hopes . it will work for some time and will give you the feeling your rig is better than it really is . but according to my experience problems will come back soon or later . if you want to give your rig a big breath of fresh air take open iv and lighten all the textures that can be done and remove the excessive street gargage in WPLs

I think you're confusing the "memerestrict" parameter with "availablevidmem"
