[PacketOVerload_x64Bit]

I am looking to auto-execute speech strings on the player and at least one bodyguard and just have no idea. Back in the day, in other games like Armed Assault, I use to fish through scripts to take code examples but I can't see a way to do this in GTA IV.

Any suggestions as to which scripts I lightly-alter to achieve something like this? This is for Machinima whole-heartedly. Thanks and Cheers

Not sure what you mean by auto-execute. Are these specific speeches from the game, or just the ambient lines that the characters say? If it is the latter, it would be easy to do with a small script.

My apologies, need to be clearer sometimes. What I mean was to bind already-ingame speech to keys to somewhat simulate conversation. I'm looking for either or, or both as you noted above. The ambient sayings that individual peds and characters "can" say. The same types of speech that's in the SNT speech list, but able to customize in INI and bound to keys.

Kind of like a bank or two of presets i.e.:
PlayerSpeechKey=165 //Play Bank 1 Speech - Player

Speech9=Ask_For_Id
VoiceName9=M_Y_COP_HISPANIC

Speech10=Arrest_Ped
VoiceName9=M_Y_COP_HISPANIC

No worries. The ambient speeches (those that peds say randomly, may be what you mentioned in SNT) cannot be controlled. You choose a general group of phrases (thanks, scared, etc.) and the ped says a phrase from that group that is randomly chosen (i.e. for "thanks", ped may say thank you, or thanks). These groups can be easily assigned to a key press.

As for the specific speeches, I am not sure how to use them. I tried to have a ped say the "rant" that the street preacher does, but I believe I need the hash for the speech which I cannot find (Rockstar calls them by their string). When using the string for the speech, nothing would happen, I am not sure why.

Wish I could be of more help, but I am pretty sure it is doable (Look at LCPDFR).

God, you really have to defend yourself on the internet these days. Especially here in the forums man. One guy can tie up so many people's day. Anyway:

1. I did. No disputing that. The comment was "Fail." on ONE Youtube video. For saying that the mod was a terrorist NUKE mod, when it was a simple explosion around the player. That was it. One time, that's all. So uh, yeah, I didn't mass-troll or anything.

2. Not level headed coming from what I've seen, or what the GTAForums staff have seen, or the GTAGaming staff have seen, or the YouTube staff have seen. Raging for almost a YEAR over one random comment on YouTube? Ha! You gotta be kidding me. So myself, all the admins on all the sites he's been banned from, and probably all the other people that view this and the other forum threads for flaming / trolling / harassment are wrong and you and Jitsuin are right?
