Okay, so I run on SKY Broadband and I'm using a Laptone wireless adapter. It's been working mostly fine, but starting from yesterday it's being a real pain in the arse. It has a 2/5 signal strength and won't go any higher. It takes 20 seconds to load each page on this site. So crap, it's like a dial-up connection from 1999. What should I do?

Is this wireless adapter connecting to a modem/router in your home or straight to the ISP?

It's connected to a wireless adapter. The internet works fine for everyone else, but it's so slow on my computer.

Check the hamster!

do a test at http://www.speedtest.net! see what download/upload speed your getting. connect laptop via network cable repeat test, If the download speed is quicker on the cable my diagnosis is the hamster powering wifi is dead!

It could be your wireless adapter that's screwed if you have another one in the house try that one see if it sufferers the same fate.
