GTA 4, Lag during Cutscnes

Player Hater Group: Members Joined: Jul 24, 2012	some cut scenes i go into, run just fine, but others just start getting jerky, it might be that im near water as well as when im wanting to take a taxi, when i go to talk to the Driver in the cab it slows down hard its a clean game, no mods, i have GTA 4 and both Damn and Ballad installed but im playing through GTA4 atm, got it on steam these are my specs OPERATING SYSTEM: Windows 2.6.1.7601 (Service Pack 1) CPU TYPE: AMD FX™-4100 Quad-Core Processor CPU SPEED: 3.62 GHz SYSTEM MEMORY: 7.98 GB VIDEO CARD MODEL: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti VIDEO CARD MEMORY: 3.97 GB DESKTOP RESOLUTION: 1440x900 i can run a game like skyrim on max settings with the high texture mod and increased Mesh mod This post has been edited by Omians on Tuesday, Jul 24 2012, 05:41

Keep riding hard, son Group: Members Joined: Feb 14, 2008	I'm guessing you have maxed out GTAIV, which you probably shouldn't do. Lower the settings and try again.
