I'll give this another go. We had one last year that I was fairly competitive in while I was making an effort.

Edit: Bilbao Baggins is my team by the way. Toying with a few ideas. Haven't yet decided whether I truly believe Rodgers will improve Liverpool's defensive record

Same strategy as last year. Team composed of 3-4 teams I expect to win a majority of their games with a crop of players from the promoted team I expect to do best in reserve. Switch them in for games I expect one of the other 3-4 teams to lose in.

Nowhere near done yet. The Lucas/Allen combination is predicated on the idea that Allen is going to Liverpool. I think I'd still prefer two midfielders who will offer more of a goal/assist threat but we'll see. As I said earlier, not sure if Liverpool are going to do good defensively and the amount of goals that Lucas and Allen would help create is debatable.

I'm trying the same thing myself, by going for players who will have a go themselves or are good setup players.

Up to the game week starting on August 18th, so we can then point and laugh at every bodies teams. After that we would be then down to substitutions etc.
