I just say it's not cool to mutter something like that, out of character for the normally cool Tommy. Lance could have used the helicopter on the roof to escape. It shows that he has some depth, and not just one type of personality. Anyway, you can imagine what you want. You can write a fic or something, but officially, Lance is dead. Has Rockstar ever said anything about it? Did they say Lance is dead? If Rockstar doesn't confirm or deny, Lance's fate remains unknown. I can't believe what we're debating about. There's no POSSIBLE way he could have lived, so give it a rest already. What if he returns in Grand Theft Auto V? He will never appear again. He's a III-era character, and III-era is over.

Dude, chill already. I don't even see why is it so important to you. If you really want Lance alive, then write a story about it and that's it. Rockstar won't bother confirming every single death in games because some, such as this, are pretty damn obvious.

Perhaps because Vic looked extremely different in Vice City than in Vice City Stories.
