Smoking decreases health and too much can make the pathway to lung cancer. If decreasing-health-in-GTA v-if-you-smoke feature is in the game it will be realistic and it won't encourage smoking.

Smoking only impacts your health after you do it for a number of years... an immediate health/stamina decrease would be silly.

I still think It'd be a cool idle animation like in GTA 2 or The Saboteur, but I won't be bothered if it's not included.

Seeing as I'm a smoker myself, i would like to see this feature in the game, but if its not then no big deal. I can do it in real life anyway.

If i want to smoke, i can buy cigarettes/tobacco + rizla.

If i want to get high, i can buy a draw.

Well the fact that you can die is something not encouraging smoking.

Hotdogs in IV aren't realistic, if you get shot 50 times, then fall off a building, a hotdog won't recover your wounds. Things don't have to be realistic.

Why do you think people smoke? It relaxes them, maybe smoking will let you have a better aim temporarily?

Anyways, there should be choices like smoking pot or fags. There should be many pills that have different effects too. But none of them should ever have any effects on health whatsoever.

pot = people looking at you strangely. The screen having a funny look and the protag should laugh and say funny things while intoxicated that they normally wouldn't say.
pill #1 = invincibility-super punch and high jump
pill #2 = fast movement while the world around slows down a bit
pill #3 = slow-mo
pill #4 = make every living thing look like skeletons
pill #5 = rampage

So on, and so forth.
