I'm wondering why is it that whenever I play GTA IV, every seconds it turns lagg eventhough my pc can play this game. Here is my pc specs. I wish someone would give me infos regarding to this matter.

Processor: Intel Core i7-2600, 3.40GHz
Memory: 8GB RAM
Display: AMD Radeon HD 6670 2GB

Your video card is severely bottlenecking your CPU.
Though it should run on medium settings, try updating your drivers and see if that works.

Have you tried out installing the GTA IV 1.0.4.0 patch? Besides, if that doesn't work, take a look at this topic, it's damn helpful. icon14.gif
Or if that doesn't help, try turning off the VSync. Try also defragging your HDD. Take also a look at this. icon14.gif

your graphic settings are too high for that machine (video card), lower your settings, set vehicles slider to 1

Try using -reservedApp 0 together with the memrestrict commandline.
