GTA SA and GTA IV are the best GTAs. I like it that you can make so much things in GTA SA and I like the graphics/physics/car handling of GTA IV. But GTA V will be way better at least I hope so.

San Andreas was a great game in the series. The Map was a good size storyline pretty good and certain things in the game like the ability to do up cars and entering the police station was pretty cool too. IV added some cool things to the game like realistic flying out the window and even gameplay but left out other features that were so good in San Andreas.

I voted for GTA IV as the best GTA game to date. IV is the best, IMO, because it was the first to bring HD graphics, plus the replay value, I find, is the best because you can also play TLAD or TBOGT. I play TBOGT the most, and that is my favorite version of IV.

I noticed that SA has the most votes. I can see why, but it didn't get my vote because the world just seems too open to me. Whenever I drive down the street I see quite a few businesses/homes, but they are spread apart and it feels empty to me.

San Andreas. It's probably one of the best games of all time and it sure is my favourite game. Why? There are many reasons. I can mention the huge map and the variety of landscapes and areas. There are three cities, a desert, countrysides, lakes, beaches and so on. We haven't seen these things in other GTA:s. Overall, the environments and the athmosphere in the game are great, I escpecially liked Los Santos. The game also had the greatest storyline yet, the best soundtrack with a variety of cool tracks and many entertaining missions. Another great thing about this game is that there are PLENTY of stuff you can do in the game. There are 100 main missions, many side missions, driving schools, gang wars, jets, girlfriends, a skill & respect system and so on. Many of these things aren't even seen in other GTA games.

Love all the PS2 games but San Andreas is by far at the top of the list. Good to see it's getting it's well deserved spot as the #1 game of the franchise in the poll so far.

Dont say it was the worst one of the series. Sau that in your opinion it wasn't as good as the others. You can't say it's the WORST when it has sold more copies than any other GTA game and is BY FAR winning this poll.

I voted for San Andreas, in my opinion (see what I did there?) it was better than even any of the GTA IV era games and has a million more things to do.

If we talk nostalgia though, it'd be 3 or Vice City for me, as Vice City was the first GTA I played. Man that 80's music theme in Vice City brings back memories, same goes for everything in GTA 3.
