I'd like to see KDST, Radio Los Santos, WCTR and K-Rose return. Those genres are mainly what GTA 5 needs. It would also bring nostalgia to the game.

There's no evidence yet that radio stations are bound by the restrictions of the GTA universe separation. We can't say for sure that GTA V will be a different case, although R* has never before recycled songs from old games, and they said that GTA V is gonna be something entirely new.

The only current day "popular" music I wanna hear is the Foo Fighters, Nickelback, The Sheepdogs, Avenged Sevenfold (only their songs that have clearly audible lyrics), and some Three Days Grace. ABSOLUTELY NO TOP 40!!!

Me too. I also want some 80's 90's Rock/Metal like in Saints Row The 1st. The game had some of the best songs I've ever heard.

I would like to have an alternative rock station like Radio X. It should have stuff from the late 80s, 90s, and early 00s, like Jane's Addiction, Stone Temple Pilots, Faith No More, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Green Day, etc.

Well Head Radio was suppose to come back in GTA IV, but it was dropped, but that's more to do with Head Radio being a staple of every numbered game (GTA1, GTA2, GTA3).

IMO, Rockstar needs to stay away from artists like Katy Perry, Justin Bieber and whatever other non sensual boy-bands are going around.

Look at The Beat and Radio Los Santos.
Alot of people hate on hiphop because they think its done by talentless fools. But in reality, most of themare great song writers and charismatic.

Justin Bieber? He just a boy who happens to be very good looking and has a very average voice. Hes popular because of young girls who have no idea what music is, they scream and shout because they want his dick.

Rockstar needs to keep to the real music. Rock n Roll, Hip Hop, Jazz, Funk etc...

Just my opinion, but most of whats in the top 40 needs to stay away from GTA. Its all sung by assholes who all happen to be extremely good looking. They don't even write their own music, most of them can't even sing live. And this might sound dumb, but its true, I can't even listen to a Katy Perry song without getting a massive headache.

Don't get me wrong, not all modern musicians are bad. Look at Lady Gaga, Kings of Leon, Coldplay, The Killers, Eninem. They're all great and should be in GTA 5, but 75% of the songs in the top 40 are performed by models with average voices and shouldn't be near GTA 5.

yeah we really cant argue about other peoples taste in music. i like bieber and would like to see hes music in v. i dont like nickelback and i dont wanna see theirs. basically what youre saying is "i dont like your taste in music, mine is much better. thats why rockstar should only add songs i like"

also funny how u say they shouldnt include top-40 when all the "modern musicians" you want in the game are top-40 plus lady gaga is one of the most plastic singers out there.

I want more talk radio. They need to do a spoof of those AM talk radio extremist scaremongers like Alex Jones and extremist christian stations. Weird conspiracies, mental prayer services, random gibberish and basically a lot of yelling. Then of course the classic conservative vs progressive news stations for regular news. I always like talkradio the best, but there's never enough of it to keep me entertained for the course of game.

That, and a good electronic station (non-dubstep), a good dub station like K-JAH and I'm settled.

I really don't care what kinds of music or artist they have in the game. In real life I mostly listen to hard rock, metal, grunge with some rockabilly and surf music thrown in. But in GTAIII I found I mostly listened to the Classical station. In Vice City I loved the Cuban station. In SA I listened to rap stations. So whatever they put in there I'm sure it will be fine.

However, if there needs to be at least 1 if not more Mexican/ranchero stations if they want it to really be like Los Angeles. Los Angeles radio is dominated by ranchero stations like 4 to 1. It's horrible music but at the same time it's awesome and would fit Los Santos perfectly.
