Hallo Leute,
ich habe schon länger das Problem, dass teilweise bei Spielen, die gar nichts mit GTA IV zu tun haben, beim Starten die Fehlermeldung kommt:

File Check Fix Error:
This version of gtaiv.exe is not supported.
Supported versions: 1.0.1 us ; 1.0.2 us ; 1.0.3 us ; 1.0.4 us

Ich habe jetzt schon mehrmals GTA IV komplett deinstalliert und trotzdem kommt die Meldung.
Gerade beim Starten von Need for Speed Underground 2 (!) , Ghost Recon Future Soldier oder Max Payne kommt die Meldung und der Startprozess wird abgebrochen.
GTA IV habe ich legal erworben und es ist, meine ich, auf dem neuesten Stand.

Also what he posted in english:

Hello people,
I've long been a problem that sometimes in games that have nothing to do with GTA IV, when you start the error message is:

Check File Fix Error:
This version of GTAIV.exe is not supported.
Supported versions: 1.0.1 us, us 1.0.2, 1.0.3 us; 1.0.4 us

I now have several times uninstalled GTA IV completely and still get the message.
Especially when you start Need for Speed Underground 2 (!), Ghost Recon Future Soldier or Max Payne the message and the boot process is aborted.
GTA IV I've legally purchased and it is, I mean, up to date

Besides, try to delete the dsound.dll file in the repertory of the game and retry to install the Patch #7.

Sure, we can see it. Though, as I said, did you try to delete the dsound.dll file in the repertory of the game?

I canīt find no dsound.dll in the game folder.
The only dsound.dll is the one in the windows system folder and I guess itīs not a good idea to delete that one...
