Steam good for multiplayer?

Playa Group: Members Joined: Jan 2, 2012	Well, I want to buy GTA IV on Steam coz is $3,74 now in the Summer Sale, but I want to know if it's good for multiplayer, if there are players, servers, etc. Or I should get it to play in GFWL?

Unequaled C4 Whore Group: Members Joined: Nov 30, 2010	Regardless of where you buy the game from, you'll have to use GfWL to play online no matter what.
