| QUOTE (Brendino333 @ Wednesday, Jul 18 2012, 14:38) | If your a PC gamer like me and you wish to get GTA V when it finally releases, what hardware will you run it on? Here is mine:
i7-3610QM 3.3GHz
12GB Dual Channel DDR3 1600MHz
2 GB GeForce GT 650M
750GB 7,200 RPM SATA 3Gb/s
Just to let everyone know I did use the search function and found no recent topics about this. What are your system specs? |
It should run at a good 40-50 fps on medium if GTA IV is anything like Max Payne 3. @Nic i think it might use less resources than GTA IV or very close to the same amount as IV, Max Payne 3 was developed in parallel maybe IV will be too. | QUOTE (Raynos @ Wednesday, Jul 18 2012, 14:01) | Seeing as GTA IV needed a PC that was built in the year 2020 to run it smoothly, its hard to say. But this is my rig, got the parts, just gotta put it together.
Intel i7 3930K Asus X79 Delux 16GB Gskill Trident X EVGA GTX 690 Intel 180GB 520 SSD WD Black Edition 1TB
I'll probably Over clock it and see what I can get. |

Nice to know some people are made of money. | If you were overclocking why didn't you get Sandy Bridge? Also why did you get 16GB of ram? it's incredibly redundant considering gaming rarely uses more than 4GB of ram and the fact that you can always add more very easily at a later time if you had to, unless you happen to be a graphic designer and need to have multiple programs open at the same time while rendering videos or something.
