Hello, friends. This is not a TC but is a my modification of Portland Hospital, which sets to 1989 (12 years before 2001), as re-expanding, re-scale, rebuilding/reconstruction and renovations (What a "re-anywhere" writes!) appearence.

My briefing of this project:
QUOTE
In end of 1986, the Sweeney General Hospital (the most oldest hospital of Liberty City), is deactivated for renovations, re-scales and reconstructions. The installation is transfered to a building near AMco, Joey's Garage and a dog food factory (in Trenton, today the building as Liberty Pharmaceuticals).

Now in 1987, the area is demolished and starts the construction of new Hospital. With a ambulatory and carpark being builit in 1988, the primary building is started to be built, where is completed in end of 1989.

In begin of 1990, the hospital is reinaugurated and back to activity, ending the functions at the building (because in future, becomes Liberty Pharmaceuticals)

GTA 3 was set in 2001 and his mod in 1989 so it is 12 years ago.

Grand Theft Auto 3 (the game I gather this mod is for, through the fact Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories was not released for the PC platform) from what I remember is set in the same year as the game was released, being 2001. If I am correct, if it is still currently 2012 in the real world, 2001 was eleven years ago. I'm also led to believe that because this mod is for this particular game, the modder has chosen to speak in the chronological context of the game accordingly. So in order to correct your conclusions.
1989 was twenty-three years ago from 2012. but as the game is set in 2001 we must deduct these eleven years from your calculation. Twenty-three minus eleven is equivalent to twelve. So from this, we can see the "12 years ago" the original post suggested was indeed correct.

Anyway. nice model you've made here. Pretty original idea. icon14.gif

EDIT: Crap, someone beat me to it. tounge.gif ^^

What everthing is talking "23 years ago"? The year where GTAIII sets is 2001. I mentioned "12 years ago" because 1989 is 12 years before 2001.

But the screenshots of updates is coming. Soon.

I like the look of this, a lot of TC's never really pay attention to buildings and age or deage them properly, so it's nice to see at least one mod that took a building and gave it a reason and age.
