Indeed. It has been on sale since at least 2010. I know this for a fact, because I paid €50 for it on Steam, only to realize there was a Steam sale 1 week later where the price got reduced to €7.50...

For what it's worth, GTA IV: Complete Edition is still on sale (50% off). The sale ends the 23rd this month.

If you like Modding, the Steam Version of GTA IV isn't that Great. But i had to buy it, as a GTA Fan
I mean, 7,49 EUR (Germany/Poland same Price) was just to awesome to say No to all GTA's
By the way :
It was so cheap because of the Steam Summer Sale . If you realized, you could get many Games Cheap as hell. The Rockstar Games Collection was Priced about 50 EUR here

I agree with you to some extent, but it isn't all that hard to mod the Steam version. Only thing that can be a hassle is to downgrade the game version. But I've done so several times, so it isn't impossible.

Yes thats true.

I bought the game 2 times now, 1 time on disk back at the release and 1 time on steam. So the one on disk is for modding, the other one is for multiplayer.
