I recently went onto GTA IV multiplayer the other day and it is almost dead. It is would be a miracle to find a full server. I thought about getting EFLC but I want to know if people still play it or have they moved on? Is it like GTA V where two or three people may join or is it something close to CoD where 8/10 servers will be full? I don't want to buy it if very little people play.

Just checked the server list then, counted about 15 servers - though I had a mod on, so there is a whole other list for non-modded games. So you should be able to find servers to play on.

This is on PC by the way, and I'm in Australia if that makes any difference.

There is still a fairly amount of people in tbogt.

Also iv it's full of people maybe you just joined at a bad time or something, and iv has lots of fun modes overall more people than tbogt and tlad.

Freemode has the most then its team deatmatch, gta races etc.

I play it on the Xbox 360 but too many people hack the game and it's pretty annoying. In all honesty there is a good amount of RP Clans on it too.

Unfortunately, GTA 4 and its DLCs are pretty much dead online on competitive modes. I'm not sure about the PC version but on console there are not very many online anymore except a few on free mode. its a shame really; it used to be fun playing deathmatchs on TBoGT and owning with the P90
People will usually only gather up to play if there's a community event, which you could sign up for if you wanna play competitive deathmatchs or races

If you ever wanted to play a Ranked match, look me up if you're on PC.
I'm wanting to level up my character.
I also agree that it plainly and utterly sucks total balls that no-one is playing the ranked matches anymore.

I ranked up to level 10 about 2 years ago before I got TBOGT and TLAD. The competitive servers were great! I got to rank up to level 10 in about a month. But nowadays servers for races and deathmatches are completely DEAD. Most people I see are like level 2's because they used to play free mode all the time before the competitive servers got dead and when they did die, the players missed their chance to rank up and earn new customizable items! Which sucks ass. Anyways, yes I still play TBOGT and I'm on PS3. Maybe it depends on the times you get on a server. All the free mode servers I join are pretty active and with plenty of players to kill and mess with.

Well TBOGT on xbox is pretty dead as the only mode people play is free mode

Eh, I remember playing on TBoGT and just being awesome at it. Good times. But yeah, some people play TBoGT multiplayer.. just not alot of people (I think) because most R* fans are probably playing GTA IV multiplayer or Max Payne multiplayer>>

Played again today and again people using the Simple Trainer are coming into servers with legit players again, and Rockstar really don't seem to give a damn. pretty annoyed to be honest, as cool as the simple trainer can be, I don't want to use it and I don't want invincible people attacking me.

Can we do a petition to rockstar? does anyone care enough about this?

They really screwed up the BOGT multiplayer, sh*tty race tracks, sh*tty deathmatch maps, just too blah for me.

I only started playing online the other day. I've only been playing on Gay Tony because it's the latest GTA game and I haven't finished the story yet.

The multiplayer was boring IMO. The most people I've seen on is 3 (that's including me). Would I be better playing IV online?

I've been doing a few GTA races and free mode recently. Generally only 3-4 people in races, and most of the free-mode is confined to the airport, helicopter trolling and glitching in to the hanger to repeatedly RPG anyone in the vicinity. Occasionally you find a decent group of people who actually want to have a laugh though.

Considering how many hours I've got out of IV (over the last 4 years!), and how improved V should be, it might be the last game I ever need to buy!

Those people are such chickensh*ts. I like to use the glitch to get to under the hangar so I can shoot their helicopter so no more unlimited RPG. Several times I've gone to do this and the person in the hangar would leave the game. Pussies!
