GTA 5 multiplayer is probably going to be amazing. That said, it'll need amazing gamemodes.

-Free roam is a must. Never had as much fun in any other mode

-PvP. Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, etc.

-Racing needs to come back. In GTA 4, they had helicopter races. Now that GTA 5 is gonna have jets, how about jet races?

-I think a zombie gamemode would be amazing. Either a zombie free roam or something similar. It would be awesome to have the whole city at your disposal, while zombies are lurking everywhere, and you have to get guns and health to protect yourself.

I want to know your thoughts and if you have any other good gamemodes.

What about, ATTACK OF THE HOOKERS?

Basically Los Santos is overrun with Hookers. The demand for paid sex is through the roof, and unattractive women everywhere have over saturated the market by turning to prostitution. They're desperate for cash and will relentlessly chase you down until they molest you.

You are started off with a set amount of cash and a pistol. If a prostitute catches you, you will be infected. Hookers come in different kinds, some are skinny and will give you measly chlamydia, while big mammoth Mexican ones will give you AIDs.

While they're molesting you, they will also take some of your cash. You will be given Mafya Work type jobs to earn cash that if you choose to partake, you compete with other players to complete. Or you can kill other players and take their dropped cash.

Once you are infected, your health will begin to decrease, the speed of which depending on what you were infected with. Cash can be spent on weapons and ammo, each type sold at different weapon and ammo vending machines around the city. Or on health pack pick ups that disappear for a while if they are picked up.

Health packs only regenerate your health for a short time if you are infected. If you are unable to obtain a health pack, then you can allow a hooker to molest you again which will refill your health, but will make your health decrease even faster.

Every so often, a 'cure' pickup will appear in a random location that you must fight against other players to get. If you're infected, you will use this to completely irradicate your infection, until you are infected again.

If you aren't infected, then you can pick up the cure and take it a selection of locations in which you can destroy it. While infected players will attempt to chase and kill you in order to get the cure.

If you die, you start off as you began, uninfected and with little cash and a pistol. XP (cash) will be awarded for your actions that benefit you, such as destroying cures and and killing hookers aswell as your given tasks.

The game lasts for a set amount of time. When the time runs out, the match will end when a player is uninfected. If more than one player is uninfected, the winner will be decided by who has the most cash. A big cash bonus will be awarded to the winner.

I see you're lost for words. Here's another to wet your placenta. I think we can make an arrangement here.

This ones called "HOOKER'S LANDING!"

Each player will start at a random house on one side of the town, filled with ammo to get you started. You must then make it across the city first, to a safe house on the docks.
Hookers run the town shooting the civilians, robing them, and getting picked up.
The other guys online, can kill you, take your weapons, or team up and split the cash. No automobiles in this game match, only bikes, which will work for a certain amount of time and lock up afterwards, while other disappear (best to be used wisely).
The hookers can call pimps to the area and put hits on you. The less time there is, the severe the the hits get, and the amounts of hookers running rampant on the streets.
Once the first player reaches the safe house by the docks, working cars and bikes land from above. While the first player waits for second and third place, he cannot leave the safe house, but can shoot at the hookers outside the area and maybe change up the end results for second and third place.
DLC could be the options to choose between hookers and zombies.

I WOULD love a free roam mode and some co op modes again, they are the best.

Something like capture the flag but in vehicles, would be cool. Think that was in MC:LA.

Protect The Boss:

4 players Vs 6 players [ 4 players protecting the Boss, one driving the Limo and the Boss himself ]
The Assassins VS The Mafia

Assassins start with sniper rifles and pistols* while the Mafia start with SMGs and shotguns*. You get the Boss**, who only has a pistol, into a Limo and all 5 players of the Mafia do the same. The Limo has a lot of health [ 3 times more than normal ] and everyone inside it can shot at the Assassins. You must take the Boss to a safe house while the Assassin try and slow you down to kill the Boss. Oh, and the Assassin start with sport cars that are very fast but, very weak.

*Both teams can pick up more weapons and health.
**The Boss is the only one who has Bullet Proof vest on him.

Yeah, I am OK with that. Maybe do it like what some VIP do in real life?

Have 3 cars that look a like, all of them marked red on the map and the Boss sits in one of them. You can now fool the Assassin and they won’t know which car has the boss inside it. You can move like a "train" [ All three cars moving after each other] which will give you more fire power but, the Assassin can easily destroy every car until they find the Boss. Or you split up which will give you less fire power but, the Assassins will have to guess which car really has the Boss.

That's similar to Cops and Robbers in GTA 4, which was my favorite gamemode besides free roam. I don't think the Assassins should have snipers though. If the boss is gonna be in a moving car, you're never gonna be able to snipe him

Capture the flag.

Doesn't have to be a literal flag, it could be a suitcase full of money or something, 2 or maybe even 3 teams are aware of each others base locations, idea is to run over the other teams suitcase and your player automatically picks it up, you must pick up the suitcase on foot.
When you have the suitcase the objective is to get back to your teams suitcase location and drop off the money, by capturing a suitcase your team earns the money within it.

There is a 15 minute timer or a team must capture 3 suitcases.

At the end of the time limit if no team can capture any suitcases because everyone is camping, the team which picked up the most suitcases wins, this will help deter teams just sitting at their suitcase/flag.

^Stolen from COD with a little variation.

You can blow up their tires by going in front of them and waiting for them. You have a fast car after all. Or you can kill the driver. You can go wait for them near the safe house to kill the boss once he is out of his car.

Yeah, I got my idea from Cops and Robbers mainly. I just added some things to it and in my 2nd post, I added some new idea which I think will make online even more fun.

Free mode is versatile as long as everyone cooperates.

Zombie free mode would be fun or zombie game mode. There is one player that is zombies amongst other NPC zombies and all the others are survivors and each survivor to die is swapped on to the zombie team until there's one person left. Also, maybe incorporating simple native trainer type program to build bases by spawning props.

Also the ability to create a character for MP.. the wardrobe or customization in MP was very limit and even more so in the episodes.

Getting kicked because you died is a terrible idea... It would be better if you remained dead until the round ended or if all the survivors died. Also, there should be goals or check points instead of running around aimlessly shooting zombies, getting from one part of the city (perhaps the suburbs or the central business district) to the other side (or border) or to the airport or army base.
