What a miserable and pathetic person you must be. This is a 13 year old kid using his free time to develop a skill that can lead to a career in doing something he loves to do. Because you most likely failed in life, you want to come in here and belittle him and discourage him from doing what he likes to do. Pathetic people like you are sometimes the reason people succeed. They turn your negativity and put-downs into motivation and it drives them to accomplish their goals.
Even if he never finishes this, so what? The hours he spends on it is valuable experience and it will benefit him as he moves on. He's a 13 year old boy for f*cks sake and he's done something I know full well I don't have the skills nor the patience to do. I wish him nothing but good luck and I hope he accomplishes everything he sets out to do with his life.
Neckbeard, if you ever lose your virginity and have kids, I sincerely hope you do not put them down and try to dash their dreams like you are doing here. It really is pathetic. |
I didn't really want to write in this topic again but your answer really amazes me. I most likely failed in life because I was the only one who was telling him the truth about his project? Nice to know you have such good arguments... Your profile says you're 28 years old which obviously means you once were 13 yourself. Don't you remember how easy it was to get you excited? How fast your interests switched? This kid obviously didn't want to create a game since his birth but since he saw the GTA V trailer. He was just hyped about it and couldn't keep his fingers still (which is totally ok) but lying isn't gonna help him at all. Which brings me to the point about his so called skills... Downloading a game maker and changing some settings aren't skills but if you people keep telling him how awesome he is he'll really believe that he is good at what he's doing. It'll make him delusional. Oh and about the valuable experience: Doing things EVERYBODY could do (yes you too) and being called special is for sure a very valuable experience... I wish him good luck too but as I said lying in his face won't help him at all! Funny that you're mentioning kids because my daughter was born 11 months ago and you can be sure as hell that I will tell her everything she does is perfect because that's the job of her parents and not of strangers who have to play the other role which is telling them the sometimes awful truth

Neckbeard, I'm still working on it, It's getting too hard. I'm meeting problems on my way, so I'm trying to solve them. It takes time. | QUOTE | | This kid obviously didn't want to create a game since his birth but since he saw the GTA V trailer. |
The game was started to be developed a few years ago, it was a simple 3D race example, but it was really basic. I added much stuff, and it looks a lot better now. | QUOTE | So that's it? The little experiment is over? Yeah he totally will become a developer... |
I'm working on both two games, the second is a 3D example, that was created from this game. I don't have time for both, I will work on The Crimes of Liberty City more soon. UPD: Goodbye... This post has been edited by NewGamesTeam on Monday, Aug 20 2012, 14:19
