I jumped into a free-mode last night (airport) and with about 10 players it was business as usual, till I found a MASSIVE loop-ramp right beside the control-tower. It was as tall as or nearly as tall as the control tower itself and was made of a bunch of smaller ramps haphazardly stacked and lined up (floating freely in space as code-placed objects). At the corner behind the control tower where the 4 runways all meet, there was a series of lined up skate-ramps (half pipes) leading to a small ring with an incomplete cambered ridge.

So, question 1: How is this possible? How is somebody modding the actual game-world?
Question 2: It is possible. Why isn't R* putting tools in our hands to make our own multiplayer areas?

They somehow managed to mod their PS3 and they just used trainer to spawn objects.

Why should they? They are not gonna support modding consoles and they wont make any money on it as you can download mods for free from websites. Anyway you can create your areas etc on PC where you have separated servers for modders and you are free to mod how much you want but on consoles its not allowed

It's not allowed only because it's not allowed. Console users should also be able to benefit from the creativity of modders, and LBP showed you can make money by allowing this.

As for my original question, though, thanks for the link. Gonna check it out now. Is my game, account or PS3 at risk if I jump into one of these games? If the other thread covers that, I suppose I'll find the answers there. >.<

Its not allowed becouse most of the players dont want to be killed by kids with god mode or being teleported to prison by trolls with evil trainers... Anyway you are free to buy copy of GTA IV for your PC and check on your own what allowing modders to play means. Your account is in risk only if you play with cheater on purpose to increase your rank
