Right I was playing on GTA IV on PS3 and it all started out normal when the game was loading and when I go onto multiplayer I could not seem to see guns, get killed my guns or kill with guns. The cops don't shoot me or try to kill me and I know this would seem great because I can't be killed it isn't because in turn I can't kill.

i once encountered situation where i was in a FM game and invited a friend into it. i could see the announcement that he had joined, but could not see him in my list of players, nor could i see him in the game. it was the same for him with my player. we could both see the same players on the map and in the list (and interact with them, we could see each other causing explosions). we each tried exiting and inviting the other into the game, but same result.
