I bet they leaked it themselves and pretended it wasn't them to see the reactions of everyone else, if they liked it, they'd announce it officially, if not they would say it's fake.

But you can have a game with good multiplayer and single player. Bad Company 2 was great off and online. If a dev isn't going to care about single player, why the f*ck do you add it in the first place? Call of Duty doesn't have the greatest stories, but at least the single player is fun!

Well it's sad to say but I'm expecting the worse. The beta map will likely have no vehicles (especially helicopters) as EA will want to attract as many CoD players as possible. Piloting an aircraft in Battlefield is too advanced for someone with a name such as "Xx iTz 5n1PEz xX" so they'll dumb it down for the lil' ones. The "completed" product will probably be packed full of disc locked content knowing EA.

All these people comparing it to COD is ridiculous. For startes the premium dlc is a one time fee, like the Rockstar pass, so it is more akin to that than Elite. This is a rumour about the beta, not the actual release of the game. Just because access comes with preordering Moh doesn't tell us when the beta will actually happen, it could be months before we see anything of it like they did with the BF3 beta. If it does appear in 2013, which I can't see it happening personally, it will still be a two year gap between release.

Also to the person who said they'd have to copy Activision/Treyarch and go the futuristic route, Battlefield already did it. Well.

tbh I really want 2143 with titan mode. A futuristic setting with the frostbite 2 engine would look awesome.

Of course a new battlefield game is coming out next year the only 2 questions are will be BC3, BF4, or BF2143 and will it be on next-gen consoles.

What the f*ck, everyone just needs to relax. I don't know why a two year gap between a game franchise immediately makes you hate the game and decide not to purchase it, but it's completely ridiculous. BF3 was an extremely good game and deserves a sequel - albeit, one with a better story and a few slight variations. I'm looking forward to seeing what BF4 has to offer.
