It's getting closer and closer.

The weather in North Holland is quite nice now. Not too hot and not too cold. This week was the hottest week for a long time. But the weather forcast said that next week wouldn't be a sgreat. Rain and wind and storms.

I like rain, storm and wind. But also nice sunny weather. But too hot I don't like. I can't lose the heat on my body.

This and the marketing campaign of Max Payne 3 is near the end. 80% of the sales of a game are in the first two months after the release. Between the release of Max Payne 3 and now have been 2 months passed. So yeah the aggressive marketing is over.

You're really pessimistic since this long info drought. Anyway Red Dead Redemption was released in May 2010. This game had 4 DLCs. The last DLC was released in September 2011. L.A. Noire was released in May 2011 so 4 months before the last RDR DLC. Do you really think that Rockstar will promote the DLCs as aggressive as Max Payne 3?

Well, Red Dead Redemption sold 12 million copies. Rockstar thought the game won't sell well but they were wrong. But yeah Rockstar thought that L.A. Noire would sell better. It sold only 5 million copies. And Max Payne 3 isn't sure yet. It sold 1.7 million copies on the consoles but how the sales are on the PC, I don't know. PC is more important for Max Payne 3 because it's the lead-platform. We'll see it in 2 days.

July 31st is just a f*cking finance conference. They'll say a few numbers, the financial people of this forum will get excited, and the rest of the people will try to kill themselves because they didn't announce a release date during a f*cking financial conference like they never do.

And yes, since MP3 didn't make as much money as rockstar wanted, I fully believe they will promote the DLC like hell to make up that lost money and V fans will be short of info for another 3-4 months. Like rockstar always does and always will do.

It's just speculation. I said that THE BEST THING we can expect is a release window for GTA V so something like FY'13 Q3. And no Rockstar won't promote the DLCs as aggressive as Max Payne 3. Marketing costs money and Rockstar would even enlarge their loss if they promote the DLCs like Max Payne 3. Sure, they'll show one or two videos per DLC and give some info but that's it. They won't make a full-blown marketing campaign for some little sh*tty DLCs. If they want to make a new record in stupidity then they'll make it like you said. Seriously, I highly doubt it.
