| QUOTE (MosquitoSmasher @ Monday, Aug 20 2012, 20:59) | I don't know about you guys, but i find one thing very strange. Let's go with believing in the possibility of a 2012 release, where are previews? With every single Rockstar game, or any game for that matter, there have been at least a handful of previews/hands-on articles. Yet of GTA V we have zero, nothing. Do you guys actually believe that V will release without some of the bigger sites having a a preview/hands-on? Cause i don't see that happening at all.
Unless all this time several sites have had previews on the ready, but waiting for Rockstar's green light to publish them. | Either they're waiting for the green light, or R* just isn't doing much previews. Remember, R* has said that they want the game to be a surprise. They don't want 1000 previews telling everything about the game

It would be a first for Rockstar...to release a game with so little info.

| QUOTE (Courier.rar @ Tuesday, Aug 21 2012, 00:29) | Exactly, Rockstar doesn't give a f*ck about traditional advertising, they don't need it, they could release GTA V tomorrow and break world records in sells. |
With how often Game companies rely on Gorilla style adverts, if someone for example rockstar would put a full blown campaign in lets say a months time what would stop them for taking over the market. Other company ad money have already been spent on smaller things like ads that play to a small audience. Where Rockstar could hit up the market and rely on free marketing to push it forward after the initial shove. This post has been edited by loki18760 on Tuesday, Aug 21 2012, 04:49

IMO, i think there wont be any previews, like all the above said, R* wanted this game to be a surprise so they wont do much marketing, and guess what, it works perfectly. Look how hyped the internet yesterday when the screens were just released, and it had been very quiet before. This kind of marketing worked perfectly, it pisses people off, but in the end, the hype is really huge compared to other great video games.

rampage08: Indeed. I think we'll see previews but just within the last two months before the release of the game.

IMO this is one of the greatest and most detailed posts ever and here's a massive thumbs up to you for putting the effort into it.

| QUOTE | Epsilon being a survivalist sect, preparing for the end of world since Y2K, and GTA5 happening "our times", We can suppose Rockstar is just giving to us the day of GTA5' release! Decembre, 21, 2012, "our" actual day for the end of the world. |

So, 21 december 2012 is release date ? | Isn't that site just speculating as hell? Cause i don't see anything about a date or even GTA V mentioned, they wrote it themselves.

IMO we will have another character or synopsis trailer, showing cutscenes from missions and conversations, so we know what's the plot this time. Its perfect i think, you want to surprise people, but you also want people to know a bit about the game.
