NSU RO80. Dainty and sophisticated. Massively ahead of its time.

Its light, modern chassis & innovative powertrain were a breath of fresh air in the 1960s

Maserati Quattroporte II. Jesus, Mary & Joseph, I want one. The only one.

Citroen's oleopneumatic suspension, steering & brakes meets quintessential 70s styling.

Iso Grifo. Look at it. Just f*cking look at it.

Car design is a compromise between butch and slinky. Aggressive and demure. Not here.

Challenge accepted. Whilst I absolutely adore the 33 Stradale, I always thought it's Ferrari brothers were better looking cars.

They look absolutely nothing alike. For Christ's sake, the engine isn't even in the same portion of the damn car.

I've always thought they looked somewhat similar. Or least a lot of similarly styled bits even if the basic shapes of the cars themselves differed. The wide haunches of the mid-engined alfa really do suite that shape quite nicely.

You can see quite a few similar styling cues in any number of Italian cars of that era. Bizzarinni 5300 GT Strada for example.
