Rockstar Games parent Take-Two will report the results for the first quarter of their 2013 financial year (Great Scott!) on July 31, 2012 (and not August 7th as incorrectly indicated prior by Yahoo! Finance). Given their projected loss, as indicated a few months ago, for the quarter, and the added pressure to exactly say how they will make their huge PROFITS of 1.85 billion dollars (nearly DOUBLE that of their best ever non-GTA year), do you think they'll be pressured to comment on how exactly they'll make that dough?

I say we hear more about V before July 31st, probably on Thursday July 26th (anniversary of Federal Trade Commission Inquiry into Rockstar Games over Hot Coffee). If not, they can suck it.

Insert 2: Also want to add that the results are a week earlier than normal. Why? Maybe Take-Two wants to have the bad quarterly results as close to the excitement of the GTAV Release date announcement as possible.

For all the "here we go again" comments: I think there is genuine suspense whether Take-Two $2.25 EPS guidance is maintained for the year. If that slips out of the year then GTA V has been delayed.

I dont know if Take Two would be pressured in revealing anything too discriptive.

They will most probably say, "We have some great titles in the pipeline, these will boost our sales for Fiscal 2012"

I mean, i doubt they'll say something like, "yeah, we will release GTA V in October because we're confident that it will sky-rocket our sales."

Please let's not get overexcited now and start looking forward to july 31, let's just wait and see. The chance of anything GTA V related being announced then is just as big as nothing being announced.
