Lolwut, someone dissing GTA SA. I must agree with some points. I don't hate CJ but the whole storyline was a bit too much. It's like R* wanted to fill the story with useless missions to have a big storyline. They were fun but the game was like a joke. IV's story is my favourite.

I think SA's story is way better than those abortions in the Saints Row games, but something still doesn't seem right.

IMO CJ just felt unbelievable (I don't mean that as a compliment). His character doesn't fit the role of a king pin.

At the start of the game it's clear he was the kid that used to get picked on. At the end even with all the power and wealth he still feels like that.

He really should've been in his 30s. I understand R* wanted to make it a somewhat underdog kind of story, but after VC where Tommy refused to lay down for anyone it felt like a step backwards.

A story about a hoodrat becoming a casino kingpin and flying jetpacks was always gonna have some credibility issues. I kinda liked CJ, most gangstaz are really annoying and he wasn't.

GTA SA is a million times better than IV and way above the other III-era games IMO. It has absolutely everything I want. Awesome storyline with lots of variety in missions, huge map, great soundtrack, great characters, endless fun and all of that.

SA is not a bad game itself, but in my opinion the others are better. My problem with it is that it's so unrealistic and I don't really like playing a crime game that isn't 100% about crime. I don't think that planes, jetpacks and all are GTA style. Hell, if I want countryside I'll go play Skyrim. CJ has some depth to his personality, but they went over the top with the flying school, Area 69 and stuff.
