Now THAT looked damn impressive. But it's a different engine of course and for all we know it's way smaller than GTA.
But about GTA, we know they develop it for Xbox first and then port an identical version to PS3, right? What if they would do the opposite? That would be killer, cus the PS3 would be used to it's real potential. | No mate, the demo was on PC, Ubisoft even confirmed that. Please don't make wild guesses

| QUOTE (niko bellic half brother @ Monday, Jul 9 2012, 23:35) | Am I the only guy here who seems to find the graphics in actually playing the game, are so much more crystal clear than what we see in the trailers? (console man here) Eg: The IV trailers were awesome, but when I eventually played the game I was completely blown away with how clear and smooth everything was. Same with RDR.
Now, I've seen that vid on YouTube of the comparison between the IV And V trailers and clearly the graphics/physics have been improved. So with my theory, we are in for something truely special with V, in regards to actual gameplay compared to trailer footage - no matter which high-def setting you view the trailer. | Definitely. Trailer is free cam, so it can get up close. When you play games from 3rd perspective its more crisp and generally better looking.

Not sure of that is true ^^, but it is also running at 30 fps, which is what IV ran at on consoles and pretty much every other game. | This is the very first time i read this, i wonder where he heard/read this.

I'm like, does it really matter? Who gives a fats rats ass. I keep seeing these silly comments about how the graphics are not that different and I'm not interested, but it looks a lot better than GTA 4 really. It's still detailed. GTA was never about graphics anyway, it was about having fun and killing or driving, or stealing, being chased. Not about ground breaking graphics. I say we should be thankful, R* could have just gave us TBoGT graphics and called it a day.
The games going to have a lot of content so what's the problem, the games not hideous. And about the consoles can't handle it bs, play a game called NFS Hot Pursuit(2010) and you will see the graphics are groundbreaking and the consoles, lets use the xbox since it suffers from criticism, handle it well, no slow loading textures and it doesn't lag.
So yes, the consoles can handle GTA V, and IMO, GTA V graphics are fine, I'm not going to get nit picky with it all, be glad your getting a GTA.
PS.: The game is obviously going to look better because when you put a YouTube video in full screen it's gonna' be pixalated. I bet when R* makes full screen photos for GTA V it's gonna' look really good. I can't believe people don't know that.

Sorry for double posting.

My reaction towards this thread |
Really now, just grow up. | Well I'm 15 years old, so i got a while To me, GTA 5 graphics remind me ALOT of Midnight Club LA's and a hint of the sims, but better looking.

Not sure of that is true ^^, but it is also running at 30 fps, which is what IV ran at on consoles and pretty much every other game. | Pre-release media for RAGE games has always been of the 360 version because it was the lead platform when RAGE was developed (the PS3 wasn't out yet when Rockstar released Table Tennis). Similarly, media for L.A. Noire was the PS3 version because that game was originally going to be PS3 exclusive.
