You've actually just proved you don't know much about sniping on GTA4. The most played maps are Colony Island and Bohan, and if you want to get a lot of kills you must keep moving the whole game due to the buildings. If a good player plays standard or powerful weapons and doesn't pick up a sniper rifle in intense games you can tell they don't know how to snipe.

Sniping is easy? Well, add me so we can play a 2vs2 or 3vs3 standard weapons. Your team only snipes, my team can use all standard weapons. What do you think? I'm quite rusty since I haven't played the game much in a while but I'm prepared to do this to be proven wrong.

hahaha pfft yea right, like henricosa said, we can do a team deathmatch, first time you and your friends are snipers and we use standar weapons, second time me, him and some good snipers will be playing against you guys using snipers.

This is Grand Theft Auto 4 Multiplayer.
Theres a whole lot of difference between these two.

You really dont sound like a very smart player, I mean you dont use half the weapons ( and every weapon has a purpose in the game), you dont get a better weapon with better range/ or body armour ( but that doesnt make 'you' a noob, but if someone else grabs it they are). You still moan about heli-trolls, yet you have been playing for how long? Havent you figured out that moaning about it aint going to stop you getting owned? Newbie heli pilots are easy to kill with a Pistol, and I'm not moaning about the pro pilots I don't even play with. No, they're not pros, only area they're good at is the airport where they can heal all they want, no balls to go to the city or let people heat up.

Anyway back on topic. Every weapon in the game has a purpose. Shotties and rpg's for corner shooting, smg's and grenades from cars. The sniper certainly has a job. If you want a quiet takedown its pretty easy to catch someone unaware and take them down one shot. Also those long shots at choppers. Theres nothing like a direct headshot at some pilot whose causing trouble. Out of no where, bang dead?wtf? If you limit your weapon you limit your options. and yes the chopper is a weapon. If you cant fly one by now you should be ashamed of yourself.

Like legacy has said, every weapon has a purpose and a value, every weapon and tactic can be countered, rather than just moaned about. I hate RPG's, so prefer to play most games with standard weapons, but I don't call every player that uses one a 'pussy'. !
