Some sad news. The Los Angeles Times is reporting that Ernest Borgnine has passed away. You probably know him from films such as The Wild Bunch, Escape From New York, The Poseidon Adventure and The Dirty Dozen I also just discovered that he does the voice of Mermaidman on Spongebob Squarepants

Another legend passed away. He'll always be Cabbie (Escape from NYC) and sheriff Lyle "Cottonmouth" Wallace (Convoy) for me.

I want to say I remember him most from McHale's Navy, but as I sit here I'm starting to think I'm seeing him all over the place...Love Boat and stuff like that.



I just checked his IMDB. Yup, he was all the f*ck over the place.

Gotta give the man much credit. Hollywood and the like don't make them like him anymore.

RIP Ernest Borgnine. I've seen quite a few of his roles (remembering Cabbie the most), and it is never good to see a Hollywood legend pass away. I do hope to check out some of his older movies now.
