I recommend you to get a new PC to play IV properly, no matter what the budget is.
Are you willing to do so? |
But it can run gta 4 with 25-35 fps, but sometimes lags horribble... |
...at Lowest Settings, right? Still, you should get a new one for gaming. If you're not willing to, then check what else than Dr. John's hood sh*t.  Also Ultimate Grahics Tweak. |

With resolution 1280*1024... All other things off or low... And i have patch 1.0.7.0... I've put the ultimate graphics tweak and it's the same thing... |

Uninstall the game and install it again, this time apply Patch #4. Use Dr. John's sh*t I linked you to.  Lower the Resolution. |

You must be thinking about Vista, as SP2 is the latest SP for it...As for XP, SP3 is the latest one, and SP1 is the latest one for Windows 7....To my knowledge?-I have all 3 of those OS's, and those are the only updates I have seen in Windows updates... Anyway, according to the box the game comes in, SP3 IS REQUIRED for XP...It is also noted in the Pinned "Can I Run it.." topic that SP3 is required for XP: | QUOTE | Minimum System Requirements

For me, with 2 gb ram, i think it's better... Anyway... Yeah, i've done this , but with patch 1.0.4.0 first minutes runs very good, almost like gta sa, but after 5-10 minutes ... F*CK!! So i've re-installed 1.0.7.0... And that dr. John hood sh*t or something like that, and ultimate graphics tweak ... I don't understand what exactly does change... It say in the readme to turn definition off... It was already... |

Why did you install Patch 7 again? Also lower the resolution. |
