So do you want to be British, interesting little subject that was brought up on TV tonight on Question Time here in old Blighty, with stupid questions.
So about the test, it's 24 questions long, you have a time limit of 45 minutes, which is overkill as I did it in about 5 minutes, so you've got plenty of time. and you need to get 75%+ to pass and become a Winging Limey Pom.
Take the Test
So you're probably think what's an American doing posting this, well the flag is lie when referring to my place of birth and residence, I'm a bad teeth, weather moaning, Bowler hat wearing Brit with the wrong bloody passport.
Also here is my score, take the test and post yours (and when I say post do more that just type two numbers and the percent sign), also post your current nationality.
68% - FAIL
So Keep Calm and Carry On. This post has been edited by Gareth Croke on Thursday, Jul 5 2012, 22:49

I'm British, moved to America when I was 8 and now live in New Zealand and I did better than a fair few born and raised Brits? WTF is wrong with the British Educational System? |
The test is ridiculous. Since when does knowing if 3.4% or 2.7% of the population identify as Muslim , or if there are 13 or 15 million under 18s, or which exact year women won the right to divorce their husband etc. determine how "British" someone is? A lot of it is essentially British trivia rather than questions that require a working knowledge of how the country operates and what typical values/value systems are. Also: | QUOTE (WF the Hobgoblin @ Friday, Jul 6 2012, 00:00) | | Must've guessed better last time, although this time I actually knew what a quango was. |
Having a parent in local government means I can say "QUasi Autonomous Non-Governmental Organisation" like it ain't no thing. This post has been edited by Robinski on Friday, Jul 6 2012, 01:01
